PILATES & Fascia
Duration: 1h 04 minutes
Level: for very motivated beginners, but especially for advanced to Pilates professionals
Develop strength, mobility and live pain-free!
In this live Pilates class, Maria presents a program that ensures that both the muscular and fascial systems are consciously integrated in a balanced relationship.
Muscle strengthening and fascia stimulation are important aspects when it comes to fitness and health. Both can help prevent injuries, relieve pain and increase performance.
If you focus only on one area, the training becomes one-sided and shows its negative effects.
Our Pilates Fascia Training is a great way to not only improve fitness and prevent injuries, but also relieve and sometimes eliminate pain.
It's also fun and motivating because we work out together. Fascia rollers are not used in this course, but we use other techniques to stretch the connective tissue and keep it supple.
Maria and Anja look forward to showing you the benefits of muscle strengthening and fascia stretching in an effective and motivating way in this Live Pilates & Fascia Workout.
Our program for this Pilates lesson:
At the beginning of the lesson we use a dynamic, pulsating and swinging fascia training, which aims to reach the fascia tissue in all its layers.
In the main part are followed by targeted strengthening exercises and flowing movements that improve flexibility and mobility.
At the end of the hour is a hip release exercise that can help relieve tension in the hip area. This is followed by relaxing breathing exercises that calm and relax the fascial system, also known as the sensorimotor nervous system.
Here is my recommendation, what you should always have ready for training:
- Training mat
- Towel
- A small cushion
- Yoga blocks
- Massage ball
- Flex tape
Preparation for the Pilates lesson:
- Ventilate the room before training.
- Prepare a cup of tea.
- Create a positive atmosphere in the room - e.g. candle, good scent, fine background music.
- Move cell phone, laptop, TV out of sight, hearing and reach.
