The aim of her holistic movement method is to strengthen not only physical but also mental resilience. That is, to support the power of resistance in such a way that one can accept and live through any situation in life more calmly and with more energy and stamina.

In today's live PILATES training, Maria will lead you through a repertoire of our Pilates exercises from Pilatesclub.de that use conscious breathing, concentration, and also relaxing approaches to give you insight into how to train not only your body, but also your mind.

Our agenda for this Pilates class:

Part 1: Warm up
Classic Pilates warm up exercises (approx. 10 minutes)

Part 2: Workout (approx. 40 minutes)
Introduction from simple to more complex Pilates exercises

Part 3: Cooldown (approx. 10 minutes)
Body awareness combined with relaxed breathing techniques


Here is my recommendation, what you should always have ready for training:

  • Training mat
  • Towel
  • A small cushion
  • Yoga blocks
  • Massage ball
  • Flex tape

Preparation for the Pilates lesson:

  • Ventilate the room before training.
  • Prepare a cup of tea.
  • Create a positive atmosphere in the room - e.g. candle, good scent, fine background music.
  • Move cell phone, laptop, TV out of sight, hearing and reach.
